My Story

For more than a decade, I've had the opportunity to help hotels better understand their financial performance, strengthen operations, and turn reporting into meaningful action.

Throughout my career, I've overseen financial operations across a portfolio of 15 hotels and supported properties through budgeting, forecasting, accounting, cash flow planning, system implementations, transitions, and performance analysis. While I'm comfortable digging into the details, I believe financial leadership should be about more than producing accurate reports. The real value comes from helping owners and hotel leaders understand what the numbers are telling them and what to do next.

I'm known for making complex financial information easier to understand, asking thoughtful questions, and addressing issues directly rather than hiding behind a spreadsheet or searching for a convenient silver lining. I believe the strongest partnerships are built through honesty, clear expectations, and consistent follow-through, and I strive to bring that approach to every relationship I have.

As co-founder of CrossWord Partners, I lead our financial and accounting strategy, with a focus on building strong systems, creating meaningful visibility for owners, and connecting day-to-day financial decisions to the long-term performance of every asset we serve.

Outside of work, you'll usually find me playing basketball, planning my next outdoor adventure, or spending time with my wife and our dogs. My competitive side definitely doesn't stay at the office.
